Class Width Calculator

A class width calculator is a tool used to determine the class width in a frequency distribution.

The class width refers to the difference between the upper and lower boundaries of any class or category. It is calculated using the formula:

Class width = (Max - Min) / n

Where:

  • Max is the maximum value in the dataset
  • Min is the minimum value in the dataset
  • n is the number of classes
